Whole place was clean with MAGNIFICENT views; good location in the centre of a lovely village. Location: the hotel was just next door to lake and beautiful mountain views, the center of town and which did n't add anything. Also, camping ewil was 2 km away. Our economy double room included central heating, an electronic key card, and a work desk. The food was good with a lot of alternatives.

We found the hotel staff very friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent in the restaurant and room was very comfortable. Very nice hotel.

The service, both at reception and in the restaurant was excellent - friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and airy. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant - we went to their Paella evening, although prices were high.
We would have liked better views - although we had a deluxe room we still overlooked the cemetry and roof-tops before we had a glimpse of the mountains. We should also mention the church bells which rang loudly next door and did interrupt sleep! The town was a bit dead with very little to do and seemed a little 'down market' compared with Luzern.

The room where I stayed was very spacious, the bathroom had a nice tub. In the room, there was a good speed and free cable internet access, spacious beds and great view of the lake of Sarnen and mountains. The Hotel is on the way to Allggy (Swiss Central Point) and very close to Flüeli/Ranft, besides it's near Sarnen, Luzern and Interlaken. As it was summer in Switzerland and the weather was very hot, just missed an air conditioner, but it didn't affect the stay, since the large windows met demand. In the restaurant, the menu would be nice if there were more typical Swiss dishes.

The rooms here are spacious and elegant, with the convenience of a washing machine, and the friendly staff make you feel at ease; the dishes are outstanding and the location couldn't be better, right in the heart of everything.
